On more than one occasion I've been labeled "the problem patient" for bringing to their attention blood in the chairs, and on the floors. 1 in 3 chairs at this facility don't even work properly with patients having to climb in and out using the side of the chair because the leg portion would not collapse.
There are gnats all over the place and the staff does nothing when these issues are brought to their attention.
This clinic was also out of the protective caps for chest catheters so they were leaving the lines unprotected for weeks until their stock was replenished rather than borrow from another unit. I've spent 9 years on hemo prior to this second go round and I have witnessed first hand how DaVita has rapidly gone down hill in both patient care and staff following standard infection control practices.
