After filing my review on DaVita I took my Clonidine prescribed became unresponsive was admitted at Memorial Medical Center now on heart medicine the rest of my life because of it, then I told Heather the worker At DaVita she said I was lying that never happened the LPN came and Said let me see the discharge instructions she read them made a copy, put in the file that I had an allergic reaction to Clonidine, then the kidney Doctor came in and acted like no big deal they did nothing wrong so I am now suing DaVita Dialysis tomorrow I'm filing the lawsuit with Central District Court and Central Illinois Kidney and Dialysis Center. As a matter of fact things have gotten worse. I complained to the state about DaVita they did nothing, I complained on here and DaVita has not stopped, I'm Hoping this lawsuit will work and get DaVita to change there procedures And protocol.

I am a patient at Davita and I have so many complaints that I can only mention a couple because there's so many major issues for One if your friend of a friend like Mary or John Vaughn or Don Strobe you can miss treatment for months come to Davita and Dialyze if they don't like you and you miss 3 treatments they make you go to the hospital for one, for two on Saturday's there's 3 staff members to start with and at the end of my treatment one of the staff leaves having only 2 workers, I've witnessed 4 or 5 people going down at one time and staff couldn't deal with everyone going down because there's only 2 workers, so they try but when all 4 go down at one time 2 will suffer one had their blood pressure drop, and she got sick, some have seizures all they say is call the doc says is well you should go to the ER, I'm one of them that my blood pressure dropped so low I got light light-headed was give me saline it didn't work I was still going down but because there was not enough staff what can you do. The director Angela is extremely rude, obnoxious, arrogant and has no bed side manner and should be fired. This is only a short list, the doctor only comes once a week, Davita is not trained to deal with blood transfusions, seizures, strokes, heart attacks none of that and people have had all the above and all Davita did was call the ambulance on the day the doctor wasn't in when the doctor was in they told the doctor and all the doctor said is they need to go To the ER.

Preferred solution: Have more workers on Saturday's, Better train the workers they do have, change there policy that says friend of a friend can miss dialysis for months like Mary can dialyze whether you miss months or not. Have food at the end of treatment. .

Davita Pros: Nurses, Patients.

Davita Cons: Mean nurses and tech, Unprofessional staff, Manager changes, Poor communication and signage, No food or drink after treatment.

davita has a policy of sending tech home depending on the census of the patients...state regulators allow it
